Gold Embossed Leaves

Here's a Simple but Elegant Card
and A great Opportunity to get out your heat embossing
tool # 100005

All of the images from the AUTUMN SPLENDOR stamp set # 116503 were stamped with VERSAMARK INK # 102283 and embossed using GOLD EMBOSSING POWDER# 109129. It is amazing how many cards you can emboss using this cute little pot of powder.

TIP: Whenever you do embossing , be sure and lightly scrub the
EMBOSSING BUDDY fabric sack # 103083 over your card stock before inking. This helps prevent embossing powder from sticking in unwanted places.

Card stock colors:
Very Vanilla # 100730
Bravo Burgandy # 105123
Kraft #107070

Posted by PicasaThe HAPPY THANKSGIVING sentiment is from a SU retired set ALL YEAR CHEER III, but there are lots of choices that would fit in the
LARGE OVAL PUNCH # 107305.

The ACORNS were water colored after being embossed using the Bravo Burgandy classic ink pad# 105123 and a AQUAPAINTER# 103954

Isn't the bow cute?  It's KRAFT TAFFETA RIBBON # 109068
It's softer than grosgrain and therefore easier to tie.

Other items used:
WIDE OVAL punch # 112082
Cutter Kit # 106958  includes 4 tools  ( created the distressed edges )
1 1/4" CIRCLE PUNCH # 104403

WELL, I hope this inspires you to pull out that embossing gun and powder. It always makes a great impact on your cards or scrapbooking projects.

See you soon!
PAM
