Colors of the Season

It's an amazing Fall here in Northern Calif. The weather is PERFECT, the colors are  brilliant and because of no rain ,the beautiful foliage is still on the trees. I love the long shadows produced by the sun ,which is lower on the horizon , at this time of year. For the first time ever my hubby and I picked olives to try and cure this year.....wish us luck!    Take time to enjoy the beauty around you , it can infuse your soul!

Pomegranates....Super antioxidants ready to be picked!
The last of my irises for the season...so glad they are yellow
Nandina berries.....ornamental beauties for fall arrangements
Chinese pistache tree that is a volunteer....lucky  us!
Gorgeous apricot rose with an oh so yummy fragrance.....can you smell it?

Hope this inspires you !
With a Thankful heart,
PAM

  1. OH MY GOSH ... YOU have pomegrantes!!! How cool is that!! I can only hope to get a good one at the grocery!!
Your photos are AWESOME and yes, very inspiring! Around N.E. Ohio the leaves have pretty much all fallen from the trees and those that are left have lost their color. But that's okay ... that's the way it is here ... the next color change will be to ALL WHITE! LOVE the change of seasons but really like looking out YOUR window today!! TFS my friend!!
