Emerging Colors Medallion

Here's a Great TECHNIQUE that you should really

1.  First start with white card stock

2. Stamp various images in assorted colors all over your piece. I used the Eastern  Blooms stamp set # 111626 and In-Colors, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango.

3. Prepare for embossing by running  your Embossing Buddy bag#103083 over your entire sheet of inked card stock. The powder in the bag prevents  the embossing powder from going in places you DON'T WANT.

4. Using your VERSAMARK PAD #102283 ink up your entire MEDALLION stamp #115223. Stamp in desired spot on your card stock. In this case I used the lower left hand corner.

5. Immediately cover the inked area with CLEAR EMBOSSING POWDER #109130 and heat with SU Heat Tool # 100005.

6. Final Step is to Brayer# 102395 ink over the entire surface.  In this case I used Soft Suede        #115657.

This is such a fun technique to experience.....you gotta put it on your TO DO LIST

Don't you just love this color combination? The richness of the Bermuda Bay with the mustard and pumpkin pie just kinda say Autumn.
Mr. pheasant (from the AUTUMN DAYS set) was done using SU markers directly on the rubber.
Start by filling in your area you want with the brush side of your marker starting with the lightest color first then proceed to your darker colors. I used.....
mustard
pumpkin pie
close to cocoa
bermuda bay
SU markers are double tipped, last forever and are only $3.25ea
The vanilla hodgepodge hardware just seemed to fit this card perfectly.
# 112454 $29.95  pg 178 in our catalog
#115452  Autumn Days $23.95  pg 92
Our sizzix TOP NOTE DIE always makes for a great additional layer on your cards
#113463 $21.95
My Stamp Club members enjoyed making this as one of their Sept. projects.
